Amazing summers begin at the Y! The Alleghany Highlands YMCA is “base camp” for our Summer Adventure Camp, where your child will experience the best of the great outdoors.

A camp experience can be a powerful tool for personal growth. Knowing this, we strive to offer the highest quality camp with the most diverse opportunities. Great care goes into creating a fun and safe environment. We work hard to hire staff of the highest integrity and personal maturity, and are enthusiastic about camp. All staff are thoroughly screened and background checked and receive training in first aid, CPR, safety and child abuse prevention, character building, and program implementation.
